Teddie is hard to describe in few words.
He is always curious, eager to please, and child-like. Naturally he is curious because everything in the human world is new to him. He wants to know and understand the things that his friends face everyday. That's why he often asks questions despite annoying those around him (Yosuke usually). The child-like part can be also explained by this part as well. Sure he is a quirky comic relief, but he is naive and king-hearted like a child. The side-effect of being child-like however is that he can rather childish too.
He is awfully thick-skinned as well, for he'll shamelessly flirt with the clerk lady to get his free cooked meat. His shamelessness borderlines with perverseness; he seems very interested in girls and understanding the exact meaning of "scoring a hot stud." He also gets carried away often whether it be by the occasion or the mood at the time. Like Miss Yasogami (a cross-dressing contest) and the King Game. Although many would argue if kissing Kanji during the King Game was really necessary ... The question remains unanswered.
But he's not all fun bear inside. In fact, the hollowness of his true existence, a lost Shadow, troubles him greatly. Upon realizing that he is a Shadow, he thought he would be of no use to people who were dear to him. How could he be? After all, he was one of the things that his friends were fighting against. When he did "remember" what he was, he left the party with a very sad heart. But after encountering the Protagonist in his dream and the ensuring Nanako's safety, Teddie understood that he indeed can make a difference despite what he was and affirmed his determination to help the team find the Truth. This inner strength was enough to bring about metamorphosis of his Persona to a greater level.
It's good to be mindful that he has spent a great deal of time inside the TV world alone. Although he's outgoing, he doesn't know dos and don'ts that come from common sense. He also has tendency to get easily lonely. When the game started, he simply asked the team to come visit him more often. After his Shadow battle, he followed them out to the human world. The team and Nanako had given him so much, laughter, promises, and good memories - he would do anything to make sure they are kept safe. Sure he jokes around, but he is a good bear who knows what is important to him.
[Specialties/Abilities]
Teddie is a support-turned-playable character that specializes in Ice, Support, and Buffing magic. Although not thoroughly as Rise, he is able to analyze enemies and can smell out people with his nose. The analysis ability has gone down few levels since he gained his persona, but his nose is still very helpful to have around.
His Persona, Kamui, has these 8 abilities:
Tresto: Escape.
Matarukaja: Raises attack of all allies for a while. (3 turns in game)
Marakukaja: Raises defense of all allies for a while. (3 turns in game)
Amrita: Removes all bad status effects on the party.
Samarecarm: Revives an ally with full HP.
Mabufudyne: Large Ice damage. All foes.
Mediarahan: Fully restores HP of party members.
Ice Amp: Boost of ice attacks by 50%
His Persona is weak against electricity. But it can resist wind and darkness as well as block ice attacks.
